If you already organize your work in a Basecamp Card Table, Roadmap helps you share that progress with clients and external teams without taking them out of context or asking them for a Basecamp account.
Roadmap takes a Basecamp Card Table, the board where your team organizes work by columns and publishes a read-only version on the internet, so your clients or anyone outside of Basecamp can see the progress without needing an account.
You choose which columns to display when you create it. From then on, everything continues to happen in Basecamp: you move a card from one column, it also moves in the public roadmap. You edit it, it updates. Whenever you update in Basecamp, it will be reflected in the Roadmap.
How is it organized?
The columns you choose to publish appear just as they are in Basecamp, with their cards inside. The column colors are automatic based on their name, you don't choose them.
Who can see it?
It is published as a public site at your Can Do address, or on your own domain if your plan includes it. No Basecamp account is needed to view it.
Who can edit it?
The content is edited in Basecamp, not in Can Do. You can move, archive, or change a card from the Card Table of the project.
