How to Keep Your Cards Synchronized with Basecamp

Your roadmap shows the cards from the columns you chose to publish, taken directly from your card table in Basecamp.

Everything happens on the Basecamp side.

You cannot edit a card from Can Do:

    • Create a new card in a published column → it appears in your roadmap.
    • Move a card to another column → it also moves in the roadmap (if you move it to a column you didn't choose to publish, it stops appearing, because that column is not part of your roadmap).
    • Archive or delete a card → it disappears from the roadmap.
    • Edit the title or content → it updates, though not always instantly.

Column colors are automatic, based on their name in Basecamp:

    • "Figuring it out" → pink
    • "In progress" → blue
    • "Triage" → yellow
    • "Not now" → orange
    • "Done" → green
    • Any other name → blue by default

Note: You cannot change these colors manually.

    When clicking on a card

Your users see their notes in a popup window, without leaving the roadmap page, it's not a separate page like in Blog or Knowledge Base.

If the structure ever becomes too out of sync, there is a full rebuild option, see Re-syncing your Roadmap.
