By default, your form lives at public.getcando.com. If you prefer your own domain, you can set it up here's what you need to know first.
- Note: Custom domains work only on Pro and Business; if your account is on Solo you can save the domain but it won't work.
How to set it up:
- Enable Enable custom domain and enter your domain (for example,
forms.yourcompany.com). You don't need to add https:// or www. - At the provider where you manage your domain, add this record:
-
Type
Name / Host
Value
TTL
CNAME
forms.yourcompany.com
public.getcando.com
Auto
- DNS changes can take anywhere from a few minutes to several hours to update, depending on your provider. Therefore, you should keep an eye on it.
Your link to public.getcando.com continues to work even after adding a custom domain.
Notes:
- A single domain can only be used in one Blog, Knowledge Base, Roadmap, or Form at a time.
- If you disable "Enable custom domain", your saved password will also be deleted, if you had one.
