When you share your form and someone fills it out, the response becomes one of these four elements in Basecamp, which you can choose after creating the questions, in the next step.
Basecamp tools you can choose for your forms:
- A to-do: You choose a project and a to-do list; each response becomes a new to-do there.
- A card: You choose a project, a card table, and a column; each response becomes a new card there.
- A message: You choose a project and a message board; each response becomes a new message there.
- An event: You choose a project and a calendar; each response becomes a new all-day event there.
You choose this when creating the form, and you can change it later from its edit page, in the "Where submissions go" section.
Note: If you delete that destination in Basecamp later, or lose access to that project, new responses will begin to fail — see Where to view your responses
