    Upload files to Basecamp

Uploading to Basecamp is as simple as dragging a file to a Companion folder in Finder. There's no "upload" button or separate window: you drop it and Companion sends it to Basecamp.

    Upload a file

    • Drag the file (or copy and paste it) into the project folder in Finder.
    • Companion uploads it to Basecamp. For large files it takes a moment; let it finish.
    • When done, the file appears like any other in the project and shows up for your team in Basecamp.

    Notes:

    • Companion ignores system junk files (like .DS_Store or Office temporary files ~$…), so they don't clutter your Basecamp.
    • Wait for a large file to finish uploading before moving or renaming it.
