Companion does not store your Basecamp password. It connects through your Can Do account, which is the one that has access to your Basecamp accounts and keeps the session up to date for you.
How to sign in
- On the welcome screen, click Sign in.
- Your browser opens so you can sign in to Can Do and authorize access.
- When done, you return automatically to Companion, already signed in.
One session, all your accounts
By signing in once, Companion sees all the Basecamp accounts that your identity has access to. You don't need to connect each account separately.
Note: Companion keeps your session active in the background. If your projects ever stop appearing, check "Troubleshooting".
