The Launcher is a search bar that appears on top of everything with a keyboard shortcut, in the style of Spotlight or Raycast. From there you can find your Basecamp projects and files, open apps, and trigger dozens of quick actions without leaving the keyboard or searching through windows.
What you can do
- Search and open your Basecamp projects, files, and people.
- Create to-dos and cards with Add to Basecamp.
- Open apps on your Mac.
- Productivity tools: clipboard, emojis, GIFs, calculator, color picker, window management, notes, and more.
- System commands: lock screen, mute, switch to dark mode, etc.
What appears when you open it
Open the Launcher without typing anything and you land on Home — a glanceable view of your day (your next event, key numbers, your favorites, and more). See "Launcher Home" for the full picture. Start typing and it turns into a normal search.
Everything with the keyboard
Type to filter, move with the arrow keys ↑ ↓, open with Return, and press ⌘K on any result to see its actions. Esc closes.
Note: which tools appear is controlled from Settings. If you don't see something from this guide, it's probably disabled in its corresponding tab.
