If your Basecamp projects have Doors (links that your team pins to a project, such as a staging URL, a dashboard, a shared spreadsheet, a Figma file, among others), the Launcher finds them so you can open them all at once.
How to use them
There are two ways to find your Doors:
Search "Doors"
- Open the Launcher and type Doors.
- Press Return to see every Door across all your projects.
- Not seeing the one you want? Type the project name in the search bar to narrow it down.
- Select it and press Return to open it in your browser.
Search by project name
- Open the Launcher and type the project's name.
- The results for that project appear — a Door is labeled Door on the right side of the row.
- Select it and press Return to open it in your browser.
Convert a Door into a Speed Dial
- On any Door, press ⌘K and choose Add to Speed Dial.
- Give it your own short name.
It stays linked to the original: if someone on your team changes where that Door points to in Basecamp, your Speed Dial follows it automatically and never goes stale. To undo it, press ⌘K on it and choose Remove from Speed Dial.
Notes:
- Doors are configured in the project within Basecamp — the Launcher only displays them for quick access.
- Expect a lot of results the first time you run Doors: one row per link, across every project you have access to.
