Add to Basecamp lets you create a to-do or a card in Basecamp without leaving what you're doing. It's the first thing you see when you open the Launcher.
Create a to-do or a card
- Open the Launcher and choose Add to Basecamp (at the top).
- Choose the project.
- Choose the destination: a to-do list or a board column. That's what decides whether you create a to-do or a card.
- Write the title and, if you want, a description.
- Optional: assign it to a person and set a due date.
- Send. It's created in Basecamp instantly.
After creating it
The Launcher doesn't close on its own: it shows you a confirmation with two options, Open in Basecamp (open it) or Add another (create another). You decide whether to continue or close with Esc.
Note: you don't choose "to-do or card" in advance. You choose where it goes, and that defines what gets created.
