Companion Settings are organized in sections in the sidebar. Open them from the menu bar icon or search for Settings in the Launcher.
General
- General: basic application behavior.
- Launcher: the shortcut to open the Launcher, where search results appear and the home grid you see when it opens at rest.
- Shortcuts: the Super key, Type to Expand, and other keyboard shortcuts.
Basecamp
- Account: your Can Do session, switch accounts, and sign out.
- Docs & Files: which projects you see in Finder, plus storage status and Finder.
Tools
Each Launcher tool is configured here.
- Clips
- Speed Dial: Here you create and edit your shortcuts. For each one you define: a short name, a destination (can be a link, a file/folder path)
- Scratchpad
- My Schedule: Here you connect calendars to appear within the Launcher, you can: add your Basecamp calendar with the integrated flow or paste the URL.
- AI: Here you configure AI Buddy, paste your own API key and choose the model
System
- Permissions: The macOS permissions the application needs.
- Advanced: Advanced options and diagnostics.
