Can Do Help Center

    Manage your projects

In Settings → Docs & Files decide which Basecamp projects appear as folders in Finder. You can change them at any time.

    Add or remove projects

    • Open Settings, in the BASECAMP collection → select Docs & Files.
    • Check a project to see it in Finder; uncheck it to hide it.
    • The change happens in seconds: the folder appears or disappears from Finder.

    Select all or none

Use Select All to mount all your projects or Select None to keep Finder clean and choose only what you need.

Note: Removing a project from here never deletes or archives anything in Basecamp. It only controls what you see in your Finder.

    Keep a folder always available

Right-click any folder in Finder and choose Keep Always on This Device to pin its content so it remains downloaded on your Mac instead of going back to the cloud.

    Sync edits as new versions

By default, editing a Companion file from another application (for example, opening one in

Illustrator and saving) is rejected. Enable Sync Edits as New Versions in Settings → Projects so those saves are published as a new version in Basecamp instead; it is disabled by default.
