Companion lives in your macOS menu bar, always at hand. From its icon you see the status and access everything else.
What you'll find there
- The synchronization status at a glance.
- Access to Settings.
- Access to search tools and Launcher.
- A badge showing how many overdue tasks you have. Nothing appears when everything is up to date.
Right-click for a quick menu
Right-click the icon to quickly access:
- Open Launcher
- AI Buddy Chat
- Recent Chats
- Scratchpad
- Recent Notes
- Open in Finder
- Settings
- Check for Updates
- Quit Companion

Note: Companion is a menu bar app and does not appear in the Dock. If you close the
Settings window, the app continues running in the menu bar.
